Life Experience is priceless… I’ve been blessed with a varied and '‘colorphyll'‘ background that has created expertise and a passion to share all i’ve learned by Coaching & Teaching others…

  • Performer - from the age of 6 into my 30’s, I worked as a successful musician and entertainer, being exposed to the stage, television and recording industry for many childhood and early adulthood years. This provided a magnitude of life stories and lessons learned, miracles, meditation, famous mentors, travel, family challenges, daily discipline, learning from and rubbing shoulders with the best. Performing with and knowing greats like Red Skelton, Barbara Mandrell, Oak Ridge Boys, Dick Clark, Merv Griffin, Lisa Hartman, Mike Scioscia, and many others has given me a wealth of relevant life lessons, insights, stories, and the skills to present them effectively, whether before a workshop “audience”, in a small team strategy consultation, or during a one on one goal setting session.

  • Coach - Coaching the great team sport of club soccer was perhaps one of my favorite decisions made when my son turned 4 years old. Spending the next 19 years coaching high level club teams both boys and girls gave me a tremendous amount of material for workshops. Getting to know my players individually and then preparing them to work as a team was a critical turning point for my life. It has given me a platform for improving leadership, motivation, and discipline skills not just for myself but for those around me at work and at play. These skills were crucial to winning games, to watching players move on to success in college and great careers and to running a winning business.

  • Handyman / Landscape Owner - Being an owner of my own business towards the end of my musical years gave me a lot of experience with clients, organization, hard work, and perseverance, preparing me for the leap into the corporate landscape world. From start up to the sale of my company, I learned several “tricks” to success, mantras that I practice to this day and counsel my clients to utilize: Be honest, Provide more than promised, Deliver the project on time, and Build relationships just to name a few.

  • Estimator / Operations - My move to the Arizona desert provided an exciting 20 plus years estimating, project managing, construction operations, and branch management on small to multi-million dollar municipal and commercial projects, and creating some of the most beautiful park projects in the desert. Collaborating with multiple areas of the construction business exposed me to working with diverse people in many trades from many different organizations.

  • Regional Branch Manager - What’s the experience worth working with the owners to start a branch organically from scratch in a new state for one of the largest landscape management companies in the Southwest? Priceless… breaking into the market, pursuit of client relationships, building trust, delivering quality, budgeting, scaling up, building the right team, hiring, layoffs, client retention, growth, employee safety, motivating your team, overcoming challenges, and having fun while doing it. Yes, the experience was priceless.

  • Designer / Consultant - We’ve designed, won bids, installed, managed and maintained landscapes in the Southwest and now consult and create business solutions and rendering designs for landscape companies in Oklahoma, New Jersey, North Carolina, and other parts of the country.
